Hey Lovelies

Today I was taken back to that moment when I had a job interview and I was drenched by the rain. This made me uncomfortable, my hair was a mess and I looked a mess. It is very important that you are prepared because you never know when the rain would come pouring down. So am going to start off with a reminder, always have your rainy day essential in your handbag.

This realization (weather changes) is what made me think of a guide on how to dress for a job interview this season. This seasoning is dual, there are days when it would be so hot you would almost loose your mind and there are days like today, rainy and cold AF and of course there are those days when the weather is perfect. Your future employer is probably not a weather forecaster so I can safely assume that your interview would fall any day with no regards to the climate condition.

So what do you when you have a job interview this season? The following pictures would show you the type of outfit you should adorn this season.

For a Muslim lady, a black  ankle length dress paired with a blue blazer and a blue scarf, finished off with a black patent stiletto is all you need for that job interview no matter the weather condition.

Haneefah

Pair a brown long sleeve Turtle neck top with dark blush pants and matching stiletto or a nude brown stiletto, this look covers you when you are cold and its perfect for an interview with a lifestyle company.

Agatha

Yes you can wear white, but it shouldn’t be crisp or made from cotton. An off white chiffon shirt (chiffon is easy to clean) paired with a print pencil skirt is perfect for almost any interview (banks and accounting jobs excluded).

Taneesha

Dress for the cold by spotting a black polo. Pair with a black pencil skirt and a gorgeous tweed coat, finish off with a black patent stiletto.

Soraya

Black is the perfect color for this season, a sleeveless polka-dot bow blouse tucked into a pencil skirt is perfect. Finish off with a blazer of any color(make sure its cool though) and black patent stiletto.

Stella

Blue is another color for the season, come rain or shine. Pair a blue waffle peplum over a blue skirt, finish off with a gold belt and patent nude heels.

Ms Sole

White is an options but it shouldn’t be pure white, pair a cashmere turtleneck blouse with a calve length pencil skirt. Finish off with a patent stiletto or pumps.

Sasha
Like I said black is the color for the season but if you don’t want all black try stripes. Pair a stripe skirt with a black blouse finish off with a black stiletto.

Folake

Another way to look hot and keep warm is by going camel. Pair a camel colored skirt with a cream chiffon blouse and a camel over-soat or long-line blazer. Finish off with nude a stiletto.

Mora

Remember it is of utmost importance that your shoe be covered when you have an interview, nobody wants to see your feet or the color of your nail polish. You have to look refined, polished and conserved.

This are how to dress for a job interview this season, what do you think?
