Like I said in many cultures both in nigeria and Africa as a whole the traditional weddings rites is ultimate and therefore there is a lot of energy and effort put into the preparation, from the outfits to the theme etc

The traditional wedding allows all types of vibrant colors so the bride depending on her personality is allowed to be loud and celebratory with her makeup.
