Have you ever loved the color of an outfit on somebody so much that you attempt to get the same outfit and it turns out the color looks horrible on you. Yes! people, this happens quite a lot and its worse when you are unable to return the piece (that can be a pain), so at the end of the day you have to give that outfit out because it just doesn’t work.

As someone that shops a lot I’ve been able to study the colors and shade that work for me I stare clear of some shades of brown because they make me look dirty, Now that you know that not all colors flatter everyone, you should also know that there are colors that work well on everyone whether your skin tone is like Lupita N’yongo or Gugu Mbatha Raw.

Many of this colors that are flattering on everyone provides a warm and cool balance colors like blush pink, teal, true red brightens the face while eggplant which is a rich and deep color makes a great wardrobe staple because it is so versatile not to forget black, white and all the shades in between. The right colors don’t affect clothing only they also affect lipstick shade and blush shades(click).
